Pete Talbott

Pete Talbott is a Partner in Land & Livestock Advisory Service, LLC, a Ranch Resource Management and Advisory firm located in Lakeview and Vale, Oregon. He earned a BS degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. He continued his education with training in Holistic Resource Management, Farm Credit Loan Analysis, Texas A & M Ag Producers Program and American Management Association.

Talbott brings 30-plus years of professional livestock and management skills. The operations he has managed range from 1,500 to 15,000 cows that graze on both private and federal land holdings and permits. He has also managed feedlot and seedstock operations and consulted under Talbott Agricultural Resource Management.

Talbott manages for profitability and environmentally healthy resources through a philosophy of sustainable agriculture. This is accomplished through both planning and analysis with emphasis on:
